Max Richter

Max Richter is an influential German-born British composer and pianist who works in post-minimalist and contemporary classical styles. Richter's screen work includes the haunting scores for Waltz with Bashir, Ad Astra, Mary Queen of Scots, and HBO's The Leftovers. His piece 'On the Nature of Daylight' has been famously featured in numerous films, including Denis Villeneuve's Arrival and Martin Scorsese's Shutter Island.
